Louise Andreasen

Louise Reiswig the eleventh child of John H and Sarah Seibel Reiswig was born January 2, 1917 Marion county, Kansas. Louise grew up in Beaver county, Oklahoma near Balko. She attended the Bethney school. At the age of 17 she married Earl Owens. She lived in Booker, Texas during this marriage. After Earl left her she had to make her own living and two sons.

In 1938 she with her mother and Carl Lusts they moved to Reedley, California. Here she did all kind of jobs just to keep a roof over their head. Her main job was at Justen's Department store as a sales clerk. With all her drive to work she was able to get enough money together and buy a home. The only support she got from her children's father was when he was in the army during World War II.

After her marriage to Vern Andreasen she moved to Tulare California where he built her a new house on Academy Ave. She had happy marriage. Vern was an owner with his brother Dale of a Norwalk gas station. During this time she worked in a dry goods store (yardage).
