Martha Doty, daughter of Edward Doty (abt.1637-1690) and his wife, Sarah, was born at Plymouth July 9, 1761, twin with her sister Mary.[1][2][3][4]

She married Thomas Morton, son of Ephraim Morton and Ann Cooper, September 23, 1696. Their known children were:[5]

  2. Lidiah, born at Plymouth, November 15, 1702; married at Plymouth, Benjamin Bartlett, born at Plymouth in 1699, son of Joseph Bartlett and Lydia Griswold
  3. Lemuel, born at Plymouth October 21, 1704; died young
  4. Sarah, born at Plymouth July 6, 1706
  5. Nathaniel, born at Plymouth, October 2, 1710
  6. Mary, born at Plymouth, August 30, 1712
  7. Martha (Doty) Morton died between August 26, 1741 and September 12, 1748.[6]
