Martha Doty, daughter of Edward Doty (abt.1637-1690) and his wife, Sarah, was born at Plymouth July 9, 1761, twin with her sister Mary.[1][2][3][4]
She married Thomas Morton, son of Ephraim Morton and Ann Cooper, September 23, 1696. Their known children were:[5]
- Thomas, born at Plymouth, February 12, 1700
- Lidiah, born at Plymouth, November 15, 1702; married at Plymouth, Benjamin Bartlett, born at Plymouth in 1699, son of Joseph Bartlett and Lydia Griswold
- Lemuel, born at Plymouth October 21, 1704; died young
- Sarah, born at Plymouth July 6, 1706
- Nathaniel, born at Plymouth, October 2, 1710
- Mary, born at Plymouth, August 30, 1712
- Martha (Doty) Morton died between August 26, 1741 and September 12, 1748.[6]
