Mary married twice.

She married on 2 July 1691 at Christ Church Parish, as his 2nd, to William Carter.[1][2] William Carter died between 16 Nov 1709 and 5 Feb 1711/12 (dates will signed and proven). Mary died on 5 September 1744 at Christ Church Parish, Middlesex County, Virginia Colony (p 195).[2] [3]

During her marriage to Carter she was sometimes referred to as "Polly Carter"

  3. Chichester Bristow was born about 1716 in Middlesex County, Virginia.

of Mary Bristow 2 April 1741:

In the name of God Amen. I Mary Bristow of the County of Middlesex being in perfect sence and memory do make this my Last Will and Testament in manner Following. First that all my Debts be paid. Item I give unto my Daughter Mary Auman [?] two negro girls named Janey and Lettey to her and her heirs forever. Item I give unto my grandson William Daniel my Best Bed and Furniture belonging to it
Item I give unto my son Jedediah Bristow all the Rest of my Estate both Real and personal to him and his heirs for Ever. And I do Constitute and appoint him the said Jedediah Bristow Executor to this my Last Will. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Second day of April 1741.
