Mary was born circa 1637 at Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Barnabas Horton and Mary Langton.
Mary married John Budd II, son of Lieut. John Budd and Katherine Brown, circa 1653 at the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.3 She and John were blessed with 6 children.4 Mary's husband, John, died on 5 November 1684 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York,, leaving her a widow.5
