Richard Sherman

May have come to New England and may have been living in England in 1662.

I don't think we know if he married and if so, what his wife's name was. The surname "Makin" is the name that his mother was hypothesized to have had as a young woman, but her maiden name was demonstrated to be "Ravens" in The American Genealogist 1987. See her Overview for details.

As stated in the book, "Sherman and Allied Families" at the FHC, Richard, b. 1614 was living in England in 1662 when inventory of his mother's (Grace Makin) estate was taken.
