Thomas Gardner, Planter (CapeAnn, 1623-1626; Salem, 1626-1674) and Some of Descendants: Salem, Massachusetts, Essex Institute, 1907; page 21</ref> Seeth first married Joshua Conant, son of Roger Conant. They had a son, Joshua, b. Apr. 15, 1657 at Salem, bap. Jun 4, 1657, who married Christian More, daughter of Richard More (or Mower) on Aug. 31, 1676. Hemarried 2nd, Sarah Newcomb on Jan. 9, 1690-1.<ref>Gardner, Frank Augustine. Thomas Gardner, Planter (Cape Ann, 1623-1626; Salem, 1626-1674) and Some of Descendants: Salem, Massachusetts, Essex Institute, 1907; page 21</ref> Seeth's husband, Joshua, was a sea captain. They were living in Marblehead in 1657. Joshua died in England in 1659 and the inventory of his estate was taken on May 28, 1659. The amount was 189 pounds, 17s.; charges due John Gardner, 35 pounds, 7s, 11d. In Nov. 1659: "This court doe appoint Thomas Gardner administrator to the Estate of Joshua Conantwho dyed intestate in England and is to be accountable for said Estate." Phillip Cromwell's receipt dated June 10, 16 59, from "ould Mr Gardner" for a debt of 5li. 13s. 11d. After the death of her first husband, Seeth married John Grafton, "1, 10mo. 1659" (old Style calendar). Their children were Mary, Seeth, Abigail, Jehoadam, Margaret and Nathaniel.<ref>Gardner, Frank Augustine.
