Holocaust victims from Norway

This project aims to collect the profiles for the Jews of Norway who were killed during the Nazi occupation of Norway (1940-1945).

The main source is the Wikipedia list of Jewish deportees from Norway, minus the survivors.

Another source is the book Jødenes historie i Norge gjennom 300 år bind 2, covering the years 1940-1985.

The Jewish population of Norway was quite small before the war (1930: 1457 people according to official statiscs), so the numbers are not huge. But it's a majority of the Jews who lived in Norway before the war - the number of Jews in Norway in 1946 was counted as 559.
