Definitions
Screenwriter: A person who writes a screenplay.
Screenplay: The script of a film, including acting instructions and scene directions
In the broader sense a screenplay writer, screenwriter for short, also scriptwriter or scenarist, is a writer who practices the craft of screenwriting, writing screenplays on which mass media such as films, television programs, comics or video games are based.
