About the de la Chapelle surname

John Baldwin, in his biography of "Philippe Auguste" was mentioning a Geoffroi de la Chappelle, being Bailly of Gâtinais. As the name "De la Chapelle" is quite usual for lawiers, and as the surname Geoffroy was quite common in this time, could it be that the one mentioned by Baldwin was another Geoffroy than the one Geni is presenting?
