Wednesday, June 29, 1921 -- Mrs. Amelia Tate died at the Mahaska Hospital Wednesday, June 29, 1921, at 7:30am of heart trouble, aged 59 years. She was a member of the Yeoman and Rebekah Lodges. The remains will lie in state at Wilcox-Garland-Wilbur Company parlors until the time of the funeral Friday, July 1, 1921 at 2:30pm at the First Reformed church on South D Street.
