In 1871 a 20-year-old Charlotte Squires, born in Ireland, was living in Wandsworth Road, Clapham, with her uncle and aunt, John and Catherine Sabine. Her occupation was "assistant", presumably shop assistant to her uncle, who was a butcher.

In 1881 a 30-year-old Charlotte Squires, born in Ireland, as living in 68 Northcote Road, Battersea, with her 4-year-old daughter, Kathleen V. Squires. Her occupation was dressmaker.

In 1911 a 60-year-old Charlotte Squires, born in Cashel, was living at 16 Keildon Road, Battersea Rise, London SW. Her occupation was dressmaker.
