Eunice Larson, 88, Blanchardville, died Thursday, June 29, 2000 at the New Glarus Home. She was born September 7, 1911 to Edward and Helga (Berg) Lageson in York Township, Green County. She attended school in Blanchardville. She was married on December 18, 1930 in Freeport, Illinois to Bennie Lawrence Larson. She farmed with Bennie in the Blanchardville for most of their married lives, and helped him with his seed sales business by keeping books. They moved into Blanchardville in 1994. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Women of the ELCA, was a member of the church choir and was a member of the Blanchardville American Legion Auxiliary. She also sang at many funerals, loved to write poems and loved cooking for her family.

-Children: Gordon and Grace Larson; Barbara and Ardell Lien; John and Shirley Larson; Mitzi and Jack Mason; and Sharon and Larry Blair -Brothers: Doyle, Glenn, Erling, George, Robert, James, William and Donald Lageson -Sisters: Jane Rupnow, Ruth Vamstad, Jean Trumpy, Betty Schmidt -Seventeen grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren

-Funeral service held Tuesday, July 3 in the Trinity Lutheran Church -Rev Tom Boll and Mark Gruner of the Pecatonica Lutheran Parish officiating -Burial: Graceland Cemetery, Blanchardville
