MONROE/DEPERE - Jean B. Trumpy, age 76, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2003, in DePere, Wis. She was born on May 14, 1926, the daughter of Helga (Berg) and Edward Lageson, in Blanchardville, Wis. Jean graduated from Blanchardville High School and then moved to Monroe. Jean is survived by two daughters, JoAnn (John) Milz of Monroe, and Carol (Mark) Mitchell of DePere; sisters, Betty Schmidt of Madison, and Jane Rupnow and Ruth Vamstad, both of Blanchardville; a brother, Donald Lageson of Blanchardville; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers; and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2003, at GRACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, Monroe. Burial will be in York Cemetery, Blanchardville.
