HEZEKIAH 4, Sylvanus 3, Barnabas 2, Richard 1 of Milford

Hezekiah Baldwin, son of Sylvanus Baldwin and Mary French, was born in Milford, Society of Amity, Connecticut on August 24, 1756. He married on 1 January or June, as says Fam. Rec., 1782, with ELIZABETH HINE, daughter of Stephen, of Milford (Society of Amity), half-sister of wife of Charles. She was b. about 1754, dying 2 April 1839, in her eighty-sixth year. He died on November 6, 1831 and as usual records differ; Ch. Rec. and tombstone putting his age at 75, Fam. Rec. at 85. He bought out his brothers Charles' interest in their joint lands,save such as both sold to others, and lived and died on the old homestead; his wife survived him.

Children: Nathaniel (2/13/1783), Nancy (1/22/1786; m Joseph Bradley), Charity (10/27/1788; d. 2/21/1847; unm), Hezekiah Harvey (2/17/1790), Raymond (4/2/1792), Marcus (4/10/1794), Betsey (4/10/1794; m. Joseph Harvey Riggs), Ester (6/3/1796; d. unm 1872), and Mary (8/19/1798; m. Jonathan Treat, Jr.).

Hezekiah is my ancestor. Hezekiah served in the Revolutionary War. Hezekiah was married to Elizabeth Hine, daughter of Stephen & Elizabeth Carrington Hine, on 1 June 1782 and they had the following children:
