Mary was the model for the marble statue "Go To Sleep" by Joseph Durham which was commissioned by her uncle Francis Bennoch Esq. in 1861 when she was two or three years old.

It was exhibited at both the Royal Academy of Arts, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1J 0BD 51.50917, -0.13944 and the 1862 International Exhibition, South Kensington, London 51.500389, -0.175889. A reduced model in statuary porcelain was given by the Art Union of London as prizes in 1863, 1864 and 1865.

A parianware copy of this statue has been passed down to the eldest female member of her family.

The original statue was possibly sold by Christies (London) on 11 March 2015 for £8,750.

Notice is hereby given that all creditors and other persons having any debts, claims or demands against the estate of Mary Margaret Raine Hill, late of Margency, Victoria Road, Clevedon, Somerset 51.437858, -2.860580 (who died on the 4 February 1935, and whose Will was proved by George Macleod and Alfred Lionel Drew, the executors therein named, in the Principal Registry of the Probate Division of His Majesty's High Court of Justice on the 18 March 1935), are hereby required to send particulars, in writing, of their debts, claims or demands to us, the undersigned, as Solicitors to the said executors, on or before the 15 June 1935, and notice is hereby given, that at the expiration of that time the said executors will proceed to distribute the assets of the said testator among the parties entitled thereto, having regard only to the debts, claims and demands of which they shall then have had notice; and that they will not be liable for the assets, or any part thereof, so distributed, to any person or persons of whose debt, claim or demand they shall not then have had notice. — Dated this 5 April 1935.
