Obituary:

Bedford Gazette Newspaper Article 8 March 1912

Pleasantville:

Quite a number of people from our town attended the funeral of Nathan Wolfe at Fishertown on Sunday.

Fishertown:

Quite a number of friends and relatives from Martinsburg and other points attended the funeral of Nathan R. Wolfe, Sunday morning. The community was greatly shocked Friday morning by the sudden illness and death of Nathan Wolfe. The fact that Mr. Wolfe began his day's labor in his usual good health, and died at 11:30 a.m. necessarily made the surprise greater. He was for many years a consistent member of the U.B. Church of this place and his life is worthy of being an example to all. He is survived by his wife, one son Clay, and daughter Allene, at home; and a son, Stanley, living near home; also by a host of friends. The funeral services were held in Orthodox Friends' Church Sunday morning and were conducted by Rev. Rittenhouse of New Paris. The church being filled to its utmost capacity proved the height of esteem in which he was held. Interment was made in Fishertown Cemetery.

New Paris:
