William King ( born c1847) is listed as # 1600 on the 1907 Wooster Roll where he is identified as head of a family without naming his father. (Ancestry.com, using his traditional name Nawadegishig, identifies his father as Beshigob and his mother as Charlotte Assance.) http://www.ancestry.com/genealogy/records/beshigob_161580591.
Wooster further identifies William King as the grandson of Chief Ogimawadj, a further confirmation that Beshigob is the son of Ogimawadj and the father of William Nawadegishig King.
William's recorded traditional name "Nawadegishig" was translated on the roll as "Center heart sky" but that translation requires scrutiny and comment by a person with expertise in the nuances of the Anishinaabemowin language and Potawatomi culture.
William King was a resident of Parry Island, District of Parry Sound, Ontario now referred to as Wausaksing First Nation per http://www.wasauksing.ca/ .
