Mr. King does not have a numbered entry on the 1907 Wooster Roll, almost certainly because he was deceased by 1907. However he is identified without a given name by his 60 year old son William King # 1600 whose grandfather was Chief Ogimawadj. That means Mr. King, although his first name is no recorded on the roll, is the son of Ogimawadj.
Mr. King had 5 brothers, 3 of whom have known traditional names. John King is Shimaganish, William King is Meskwesion, and Louis/Lewis King is Naganub. Based on the records of Ancestry.com Mr. Unidentified King and his brother George King both have traditional names - Beshogob and Wonguod - but the record is unclear about which brother has which traditional name. (REF: http://www.ancestry.com/genealogy/records/quashmigo_166506879).
This researcher (W.A. Allen) suspects that "Wonguod" is a mistranscription of "Wonquod", a name which phonetically ends in the sound of "anakwad" meaning "cloud", a common ending on Potowatomi traditional spirit names.
