The Giorgi or Zorzi were a noble family of the Republic of Venice and the Republic of Ragusa (Dubrovnik)

They were two different families, origin and had different founders.

- Niccolò di Francesco Zorzi (15th century), Venetian ambassador to Pope Martin Vž
- Marco di Bertucci Zorzi (mid-15th century), Venetian military commander and ambassador to France
- Giorgio di Giovanni Zorzi, born 1582, Venetian ambassador to France and Poland
- Pier Antonio Zorzi [it] (1745–1803), 5th Archbishop of Udine, cardinal
- Donato Giorgi (? - 1492) - Domenicano, fu insegnante di teologia a Padova fra il 1458 e il 1462, in seguito vicario generale della provincia domenicana della Dalmazia.
- Stefano Giorgi (1579 - 1632) - Poeta e scrittore, condusse una vita molto turbolenta, venendo pure coinvolto in una celebre congiura per rovesciare il governo della Repubblica.
- Bernardo Giorgi (? - 1687) - Gesuita e canonico della Cattedrale di Ragusa, fu poeta e cultore di storia. Ha lasciato una collazione di documenti dal titolo Monumenta varia Cathedralis Ragusinae e vari componimenti per lo più inediti.

Giorgi family - Branch in Dubrovnik (Ragusa)
- Đuro (Georgius de Catarino) - Đuro (Georgius de Catarino) - Capostipite e fondatore della famiglia Giorgi/Đurđević (Đorđić) di Dubrovnik, si trasferì da Cattaro (Montenegro) a Dubrovnik a metà del XIII secolo.
The Ragusan poet Ignjat Đurđević (Ignazio Giorgi) did not belong to this family of Venetain Zorzi family, he belongs to the Ragusan branch of Giorgi (Đurđević, Đorđić), but to another ennobled a few years before his birth in 1675.
- Ignazio Giorgi (1675 - 1737) - Figlio di un Bernardo Giorgi civile la cui nobiltà venne riconosciuta solamente dopo il terremoto del 1667, fu uno dei più importanti letterati e storici ragusei.
Note: Some family members with the variant of surname as Giorgi, Zorzi, Zorzi, Da Zorzi, De Zorzi, etc... was mentioned also in Split, Zadar, Šibenik, also in northern part of Adriatic coast, in Istria area and south part of coast in Dubrovnik and closly area and islands, such as island Korčula, etc...
