From the Wildman standpoint: The early years of this set of parish records is populated largely by descendants of Richard Wildman de Caldcote. Caldcotes, or Cold Cotes as it appears on googlemaps these days remains a small farming community to the south west of Ingleton. It is only 2.5 miles out of town (54.135840, -2.435997).
Other nearby communities include Thornton-In-Lonsdale, Clapham, and Bentham. Many neighboring communities have their own parish registers and as a result there are cases where individuals in one parish have records in another.
Any further study of related families would be best aided by consulting: Voices from the past - inventories and wills from the parish of Ingleton 1548 - 1700 by Carol Howard & Sheila Gordon; Ingleborough Archaeology Group; Pub. 2015
