Profiles

Aggersborggård is one of the Danish manor houses , the history of which goes furthest back in time, until the year 1086 . Aggersborg was a royal estate from 1086 to 1579 . The farm is located at the edge of the Viking castle Aggersborg, in Aggersborg Parish , Øster Han Herred , Hjørring County ( 1970 closed , from 2007 Region North Jutland ), Vesthimmerlands Kommune . The main building was built in 1756 - 1758in Christen Madsen Speitzer's time. It is partly built on the site of an older, four-winged building and consists of three oak joist wings on solid-brick foundations of battle ; In the basement below the southern wing's east gable, chopped granite squares have been used , which probably have previously served for other building use. Between the southern and northern wing, remains of an old entrance gate have been found with a worn floor of the monk stone on both sides, and under the courtyard old paving . Above the entrance door stands:
