About the Karns surname

Three brothers came over from Wuerttemberg Germany in the 1700s One settled in Matilda County Ontario. Family members were told the three brothers got into an argument, changed their last names, never to speak to one another again. One brother lived in Mahoning County Austintown which led the family trail to U.E.L.C Stone Arabia New York, Montgomery County and Matilda County Ontario Canada where my 5th GGF Jason Karns Sr lived.
