Lavenders appearing in Jones Co., North Carolina appear to be from France? Some of their descendants took land grants and moved to Wilkes Co., GA and Morgan Co., TN. They have close connects to the Green family of Craven/Jones N.C.
Another Line from England may or may not be connected DNA for Daniel Simeon Lavender is English. He wrote a conformation for RW solider's returning close to his father John's Farm. He names Lemuel and John Jr as his older brothers. John Lavender Sr. Lived in Craven/Jones NC, a short period in Morgan Co., TN before the GA lottery. Most of latter life is in The Georgian along with his will.
His Brother was William Lavender Jr. Their parents are William Lavender Sr. and Rachel Probart (Widow of Melcher Rhem) see will of Melcher Rhem. The first and middle names of of the following generations are Probarts, Lane, Reman. Simeon is from the Lane family.
There seems to be another William Lavender who married an Elizabeth Probart who sister was Leah Probart Avery Francks. She raised 2 of her sister's children.
Still working to find out if these are the same persons or lineage of Yelton Payton (Peyton) Probart and NN Lane.
