He may be burried at a Commonwealth War Cemetary or was one of thousands whose bodies were never found or identified and named on the Menin Gate Memorrial. Died 20 September 1917 (19-20) Ypres, West Flanders, Flanders, Belgium.

- Lieutenant Douglas Bayley de Bruyn Royal Lancaster Regiment, transferred to 35 Squadron Royal Flying Corps. Killed in a flying accident in Thetford, 27th May 1916, aged 20.
- Pvt Albert Doubell fell in France on 21 March 1918 aged 23 in a German attack on Quentin Redoubt and Gauche Wood.
- Hugh Drummond Scottish born Private, No 2478, 4th S A Infantry, he died of wounds in France
- Reynier Johannes Deyzel Reynier Johannes Deyzel] Private No 13622, 2nd S A Infantry
- Leonard William Entress, Private, 1st Regt., South African Infantry, Service No.: 13483, he died of wounds as a POW aged 19 on 13 April 1918
- Lieutenant James Lawrence Hedding Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion Dorsetshire Regiment. Died of wounds caused by rifle grenade, Bethune, Pas de Calais, France

- Harold Lewis Foxon Able Seaman, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, Service Number Wales Z/2506, drowned 13 December 1917 when H.M.A.V. "Stephen Furness” was torpedoed by the German submarine UB-64 in the Irish Sea off the west coast of the Isle of Man.

- Sergeant Major Herbert James Juby MM (1884-1917) Joined Norfolk Regiment, transferred to 35th Coy. Machine Gun Corps. Killed in action 30 November 1917, Cambrai, France.
