Searching for the Dry family in Pennsylvania in 1700's. First Dry I have is George Dry born abt 1790 in the Tyrone area of Pennsylvania which at that time was in Huntingdon County of PA. He was supposedly married to a Nancy born abt 1775 which is questionable for have no info on her except a 1850 census and she died in 1851 in Blair county, PA. I have George Dry's family traced up to present day but am searching for country of origin and when they came to America. Need help since don't think this Dry family is connected with the Drys in NC for have no paper trail. There were 3 George Drys I have located starting with 1790, 1811, 1838. Appreciate any help I could get. Sandra Drye.
