Ehrenwerth family may come from the prince of Germania or of Greece in the 2nd century b.c. of the same name,Ernwert,son of Thessal and grandson of Brenn ( -279 at Delphoi ) . He likely descended from Madder through his son also called Brenner and the dynasty founded by him,that may trace back its origins to the last kings of Hiero-Solyma before Babylónian captivity .
