7 Dr. James Madison Laird, b Oct. 18, 1852=Margaret Morris Hill, daughter of Elijah Hill and Lucy Parks Wood, of Charleston, W.Va, Sept. 7, 1891, at Baltimore, Md. Dr, Laird was educated at Washington and Lee University, and the University of New York, taking his degree of M. D. at the latter institution in 1876. He has practised in Kanawha Valley, W.Va, ever since his graduation, and is an eminent and widely known physician, of high standing and extensive practice. His wife was born Nov. 3, 1867, and died Oct. 9, 1899.
