About PVT Edmund C Wolf

When Edmund Wolf was born on 11 March 1848, in Fishertown, Bedford County, Pennsylvania, his father, John, was 28 and his mother, Margaret, was 24.

He enlisted in Company H, Pennsylvania 55th Infantry Regiment on 19 Feb 1864. Mustered out on 30 Aug 1865 at Petersburg, VA.

He married Eliza E. Crenshaw on 4 June 1872 in Jasper, Jasper County, Missouri, and they had eight children together. He then married Clara Harmon on 14 December 1892 in Carthage, Missouri, and they had two children together between 1888 and 1895. He died on 8 March 1918, in Webb City, Missouri, at the age of 69, of a cerebral hemorrhage and was buried in the Webb City Cemetery.
