Elishea 'Elitia' Hart

Elishea 'Elitia' Parks was the daughter of Sacra Parks and Lizzie Parks. She was born ca 1812 at Accomack County, VA.

She married John Hart, Jr., son of John Hart, Sr. & Henrietta "Rittah" Hart on January 27, 1834 at Accomack County, VA.

The 1870 Census at Locust Mount, St. George Parish, Accomasck County, VA was the last Census that Elishea Hart appeared in. Elishea Hart was shown as a 58 year old housekeeper in HH#LM1003, headed by John Hart, a 60 year old farmer.

Elishea Hart died on August 15, 1877 at St. George Parish, Accomack County, VA. She died of a hemorrhage at age 65.

Elishea & John T. Hart, Jr. were the parents of 7 children: Elizabeth 'Betsy' Hart (2/24/1838-6/10//1879); Mary S. Hart (b ca 1838); William Dennis Hart (1838-7/17/1883); Edmund J. Hart (b ca 1843); John T. Hart (ca 1847); Eleshea A. Hart (b ca 1851) and George H.W. Hart (b ca 1854).
