Stephen McInnis (Michael) was a blacksmith and farmer. He settled at Shenacadie and became the first post-master of that place. He married Mary, daughter of Jonathan McPhee (Tailor), Issue: — Ann, Catherine, John, Michael, Mary, Lucy, Elizabeth, Ambrose, and Sarah.
Elizabeth married Archie N. McKinnon, of Big Beach.

Michael was a sea captain. He and his brother Archie owned a vessel with which they used to do considerable coal trade every summer and fall.
Archie (Gilleasbuig Ruadh) settled at Big Beach, and married Elizabeth, daughter of Stephen Mclnnis, Shenacadie.
