The DNA haplotype for direct male line BIRD descendants of this John BIRD (1729-1819) has been determined as "E1b1b1a" (EM78) from Y-DNA matches between tests of a descendant of his oldest son, Jacob BIRD and a that of a descendant of his youngest son, David BIRD.
