Biography
Mary Higgins, daughter of Jonathan Higgins and Hannah Rogers, was born 22 Jan 1682 [prob 1682/3] at Eastham, Plymouth Colony.[1][2][3]
Mary married James Young, the son of Joseph Young and Sarah Davis, on 12 February 1706/7 at Eastham, (then) Barnstable County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.[1][4][5]
Mary, wife of James Young, was baptized in the Truro Church 8 May 1720.[6] She and James were admitted to said church the same day,[7] and their six living children were baptized the next week, 15 May 1720.[6][1]
Mary died sometime after 2 June 1750 when her husband James, yeoman, being very sick, made his will[8] and named his wife Mary and children Samuel, Phebe Atwood (wife of Nathaniel); Sarah Crowell (wife of Joshua), Mary Newcomb (wife of Robert), Lydia Rich (wife of John), Elizabeth Smalley (wife of Francis), Hannah Buell (wife to Reuben). Son James was named executor. James died at Truro on 18 Jun 1750, in his 66th year.[9] His will was presented and witnesses (Thomas Lombard, Zacheus Rich and Barnabus Paine) deposed 26 June 1750.[1]
