Rebecca Higgins was born on 30 November 1686 at Eastham. She was the daughter of Jonathan Higgins and Hannah Rogers.

Rebecca Higgins married Jacob Hurd, son of John Hurd and Deborah Kedrick, on 11 August 1715 at Eastham. Her married name was Hurd.

Rebecca Higgins died on 25 December 1776 at Colchester, CT, at age 90.
