Boyd May Helm

Mrs. Boyd May Helm, 81, 334 Smyser St., York, died this morning at 7:45 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in York, where she had been a patient for the last two months. Born in Orrtanna, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Baker Deardorff. Her husband was the late John Helm. She was a retired employee of the McKay Co. in York. She is survived by; a brother, Theodore Deardorff, Orrtanna R. 1; a sister Blanche Rebert, Orrtanna R. 1; two nieces, Mrs. Carol Smith, and Mrs. Pearl Conway, both of York. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at the Monahan Funeral Home, with Rev. LaVern Grose officiating. Interment will be in the Flohr’s Lutheran Church cemetery in McKnightstown.
