
There is some confusion about the name of the family massacred on the Tygart River. Callahan gives both Files (Index) and Foyles (p. 55).
The information given here should have documentation, not just oral history of descendants as important as they may be. For example, how do we know
David Foyles was 38 years old and his son was named John? I am not intending to cast doubt but would like to know the sources of such information.
