I am a descendant of the Frankenbusch family, who lived in Czechoslovakia up to WW2.
My name is Susan Hughes and I have 3 children and 2 granddaughters living in Melbourne Australia.
My father Josef Frankenbusch was the brother of Franz František Frankenbusch. Franz died in Bergen Belsen. At that time he was married to my mother Hilda Schulz. She and her brother in law Josef were the only survivors of their direct family after the Holocaust.
They married in 1948 and immigrated to Melbourne Australia in 1949 where I was born in 1950.
They later changed their name by deed poll to Franks. I have relatives in London but am still looking for any distant family members.
