About James Rowe
Note: 'James Rowe' does not appear on the passenger list of the "Annie Wilson" 1859. (Reference NSW State Archives shipping list).
He is NOT Thomas James Rowe, as has been incorrectly matched in a My Heritage tree, with a date of death of 1906.
(Can't find him in any arrival "Assisted Immigrants" 1839 - 1896, or in "Unassisted Immigrants" 1842 - 1855).
However his future wife, Christina Plummer, is on the "Annie Wilson" 1859.
James had arrived by 1867, when they married.
His parents came out on the "Hankow", arriving November 1877. (Mariners and Ships in Australian Waters).
Brothers:
Thomas Rowe aged 19 and John Rowe aged 18, brothers, both single men from Cornwall, arrived in NSW 1858 on board the "Fitzjames". (NSW State Archives Shipping Lists).
