About Mary Stoney
The 1821 census shows Mary Stoney, aged 7, and George Stoney, aged 5, living as lodgers in the house of Sarah White, a 65-year-old widow, in the townland of Breaghmore, which adjoins the townland of Oakleypark, residence of Thomas Stoney's brother James Johnston Stoney. As Thomas doesn't mention Mary in his will of 1826, it is probable that she died in the intervening period. In the will George is twice mentioned after Bigoe which suggests that Bigoe was older than him, and there are two references to "Eliza Bigoe and George" which suggests that was the order of birth.
