'Some newer annals of the Stoney family' (Epping, NSW: the author, 2008) gives his date of death as 3 June 1830. Joseph Jackson Howard and Frederick Arthur Crisp, Visitation of Ireland, vol. 2 (London, 1898), p. 10, gives the date of death as 5 June 1830.
