Szaja Prinz - and Licht from Kepno(Kempen)
My Great-great-grandfather Szaja Prinz was born in Kepno, (Kępno, Kempen) Wielkopolska, Poland in about 1825, His wife Rosalie Prinz (born Herschlikow in 1829 in Myslowitz, Muslowice, Poland)
My great-grandfather Moritz (Moses) Prinz was born in Kepno on Jan 10 1847. He was married to his first wife, Dorothea Prinz (born Licht) born on April 6 1845. They had 3 kids: (1) Simon (Shimon) Prinz born in Kepno on Feb 10 1876 and moved to Kattowitz/Katowice, Germany/Poland, He was married to Eliza or Elisa Prinz (born Königsberger). they had 2 kids: Walter (Valter) Prinz was born in Kepno on Aug 5 1911 and Lotte Pawlak / Pollack (born Prinz in Kattowitz on May 14 1906) (2) Rosalia Licht (born Prinz) born in Kepno on Jun 17 1878 She was married to David Licht born in Kepno on Apr 20 1875 and they moved to Wrocław, Poland, (as of census in May 1939). not known kids (3) My Grandfather, Joseph,(Josef) Prinz born in Kepno on June 16 1873, he was married to his first wife Nani Prinz (born Berg on Sep 2 1878) from Dobrodzień, Poland / Guttentag, Silesia, Germany. they moved to Bierdzany, Poland (Burkhardsdorf, Germany) and than to Opplen (Opole), where is 1st wife died, (they had 3 kids one of them is my father). Joseph had a 2nd wife; Gertrud Prinz (born Fraenkel from Berlin), no kids.
