About the Haring surname

My g-g-g- grandmother, Eliza Haring, married my g-g-g grandfather (Alexander J Culbert) in NYC. She was born c. 1820 in NJ and died 25 Mar 1893 in NYC. She is buried in GreenWood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY. Her brother, Abraham Haring, b.c. 1827, d. 1861, is buried there as well. His burial card says that he was born in NJ.

The 1850 census shows the "Harring" family living next door to the Culbert family, with parents of Eliza, James b. c. 1783, printer, and Sarah, b. c. 1797, living with Abraham and with "James Demorest," b. c. 1835.

I would like to know more, for instance, the connection of these Harings to the ones in NJ
