Some Landauer families,formally as if orginitaed from thre Bavarian town of Landau , may perhaps be descended from Wadalan ,who also possibly might have founbded the town itself ,son of Gorgate son of Hawiya son of Irir son of Samaale Osmaan .
The latter is known in European tradition,with not as detailed genealogy of his issue as in Africa , as Kaleva Osmo or Kalvis,and even as Odomar in the Finnish ,Prussian,and Frank accounts,and Suoma-Torum in those of Ugria . He seems to be the ancestor of Suomalainen nobility as well as of Odomari people ,who are the Udmurt elite ,and of Somal-Kum among Selkups in Siberia .
Gorgate might have headed peoples of Georgia ,while his son those of Alania ,related to Iron and Dual tribes his grandfather Irir or Irdwal had done ,wherefore he might got the title or throne name Wadalan,as Wada-Alan or Wa-Daa-Lan ,referring to these Alanians ,who could be there among the settlers of Landau too .
Wadalan tribe in Numidia may obviously be descended from them too,whereas Dahimela ,possibly related to Dhimal in the Himalaya ,could have somthing to do with Wadalan's great- grandson called Dhimale .
