About the Hirschfeld surname

Dear Steven, I am the son of Ella Hirschfeld and René Castro. I know that Ella's mother, my grand-mother Petrine Kristine Damgaard (1877-1915) was the daughter of Lauritz Jenssen Damgaard (1837-1911) and Maren Kathrine Buchdahl (1854-1927). Lauritz was the son of Jens Knudsen Damgaard (1806-1879) and Ane-Maria Laursdatter (*-1841). Jens was the son of Knud Lauritsen Damgaard (1770-1846) and Ane Andersdatter (1769-1838). Knud was the son of Laurids Thomsen Damgaard (*-*).

Concerning the Goldstuck family, it is noteworthy that Henri, the founder of the Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS), had a daughter, Hélène Falconetti, from Renée Marie Falconetti, the unbelievable actress of "Jeanne d'Arc", the film of Carl Dreyer.

Truly yours, Bertrand Castro
