Knowles Genealogy and Knowles Family History Information

I'm interested to gain inforrmation about Charles Knowles who came to Australia in the late 1800s with his wife and family. He was a stonemason and I believe he was encouraged to come here to work on the Central Railway buildings and other government jobs. I believe he had family in the Manly area and lived at one time in Newtown. He settled finally in the Blakehurst area in southern Sydney. He is my husbands great grandfather and I am keen to obtain any information about his siblings etc.
